 When I first started working in the field of interior design, my accountant’s advice to me was “get the Quickbooks program and learn it.”

Talk about feeling lost.

At the time, I had no clue how accounting worked.

What is a “Chart of Accounts?”

An “opening balance equity?”

An invoice?? (ok, that one I knew!)

My brain felt ready to explode!

So back to school I went …

And that education has served me – and my clients – extremely well.

Over the past 20 years, my career has morphed from Interior Designer to Office Manager, Store Manager and Bookkeeper.

I discovered that I really liked to manage the details of keeping a business running smoothly by keeping the accounts up to date.

A design friend asked me to help her set up her bookkeeping. Then she told a few friends, who told a few friends … and just like that, another career was born.

I knew there was a need for bookkeeping help in small businesses – and interior design is my passion – so that became my “FOCUS.”

I started mentoring designers, helping them set up their business and their books using the Quickbooks platform.

I keep it simple and straight forward, tailored to each client and their individual business. Everything is done remotely and I pride myself on communicating clearly with my clients so that they know what is expected every step of the way.

I handle the books so that my clients can do what they love most … focus on design!

And I can do the same for you!
